Name of Organisation, Location city, Team Strength

Global Legal Partners, New Delhi

Application Process with contact details

I applied to global legal partners by sending my latest CV at [email protected] and I got an acceptance email within 10-15 days after a telephonic interview.

It wasn’t an interview as such. It was just a confirmation call for my internship.

Duration of internship and timings

I interned there was thirty days from 17th May 2015- 15th June 2015

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On my first day I was asked to sit in the conference room and was given a bunch of case files to read. After an hour Mr. Rajan arrived and he called all the interns in his room so that we can introduce each other.

Main tasks

I was given a lot of case files to read everyday and was asked to attend the court hearings of them if I wished to.

But sometimes Mr . Rajan also asked me to attend various court hearings.

Work environment and people

The work environment was really sort of professional. But most of the patterns were busy in their work and only Mr. Rajan dealt with the interns.

Best things

Mr. Rajan makes every possible effort to encourage and involve the interns in every case on his table. He guides us. You can get coffee as many times as you like.

Biggest Lessons

I learnt the practical aspect of law in this internship.

Since the office was at Patel Chowk metro station , I stayed at a PG in north DU, Kamla Nagar. But you can also look up PGs whose address and contact details are provided in the internship guidelines mail sent by global legal partners.

Office Timings

We had to report by 9:30 and if you are late then Mr. Rajan will definitely call you in his office and you don’t want that to happen. We used to get free by 4-5 pm
