FICCI’s IPR division, Delhi, 2 associates and 1 head

Application Process

I applied at [email protected] and got a response within a day.

Duration of internship and timings

25th June, 2014 – 31st July, 2014

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Infrastructure is really good, given it is a government organization.

The interns have a separate room but I was given my own desk.

First, we had to fill a form for access to the internet and submit it to the IT department. Then, we had to check in at the HR’s office.

Main tasks

Main tasks involved research, attending ministry meetings and various conferences, preparing minutes of the meetings and then drafting them.

One has to prepare a research paper which has to be presented at the end of the internship. We can select any topic from the field of IPR.

Work environment and people

People were sweet if you did their work on time and correctly, otherwise they will never give you work.

The environment was pretty good.

The associates became my friends as they were young. We all had a great time.

Best things

The timings, lunch hours, treat by the associates.

Bad things

No stipend

Stipend

No

Biggest Lessons

Good place to intern for 1st and 2nd year students.
