Well, in order to apply for DSLSA you need to be updated from their Official websitebecause they conduct their internship process in the two sessions that is one in the summers and the other is in the winters.
I applied for the summer internship.
They have very scrutinized process for their applications.
They themselves post an internship application form on their official websitefor the convenience of the students.
Any student can just go on their official website open that application form and fill in by themselves and then send it to them by an email mentioned in the application form.
The form comprises of the batches in which a student is asked to choose as per their preferences in order to join an internship conducted by the DSLSA.
If any student have any further query they can simply give a call to authority on this no. 01123384781 this no. is provided for the helpline and a reception no. for the convenience of the students so that their query could be resolved easily and thoroughly.
Duration of internship
The duration of my internship was actually a 21 day task which started in the month of July.
Before our batch turn they have run already one of their batches.
The internship in which I interned was conducted from the 6th of July 2015 to the 27th of July 2015.
Since I had my exams in the month of June, that is why I personally applied for the 2nd batch internship conducted in the month of July.
The first day of internship was conducted with the orientation session introduced by the eminent professionals and members of the DSLSA namely Mr. Dharmesh Sharma (member secretary of the DSLSA authority), Mr. Surinder S. Rathi (OSD, DSLSA) and Mr. Bhupinder Singh (Project Officer) who enlighten us with their speeches and their words of inspirations.
They individually explained the basic working of the DSLSA authority and overwhelmed us with their views to serve the society at large.
Well, about the infrastructure the office of the DSLSA in the PATIALA HOUSE COURT is really awesome and very well furnished.
But though the internship in the DSLSA include visits I hardly able to avail the benefit of the infrastructure.
The main task what we actually as an intern needed to do was to visit all the sites schedule in the 21 days daily and gain practical knowledge and observe the thing done there.
The work environment is really a memorable because we work in a group of 10 students and all of us work as team members.
Everywhere we visited is really an unforgettable memory because it taught us something new every day.
What I actually liked is travelling all over Delhi.
Interning in DSLSA earn you really a good friends because your group comprises of all new members coming from different places and you get a chance to know people and make them your friends.
Though interning at DSLSA earn a very lot thing but still it also has its bad side too.
We were asked to visit very far away places which were really time consuming task.
They won’t provide any conveyance we our self need to reach to that places and sometimes it is really a hectic task because you stay too far.
I suggest if any of you want to do an internship here please live near any metro station so that you reach early and be on time.
So that the time it takes during the travelling would not harsh you.
No stipend but a very well earned Certificate which means a lot for your CV profile.
Time consuming task but while working here you really make so many contacts for your future aspects because you interact with so many designated authority and yeah for our profession we really need some CONTACTS.
Any Other Thing
Well, last but not the least interning at DSLSA will really for you a memorable time spend.
Because after the completion of the internship here DSLSA organized a very happening and enjoyable heritage visit in its schedule in order to make students chill out and enjoy the beautiful Capital city DELHI in AC bus provided for the convenience of students which ignores all the harassment’s felt earlier during the visits.
Work here as an intern and earn the benefits of roaming all around ‘DELHI’.
