you can email your CV with a cover letter on kunal[at]whitecollarlegal.in or office[st]whitecollarlegal.in.
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
None. The infrastructure is a very cosy place where interns sit next to each other and it’s attached to Mr. Sarpal’s Cabin.
It includes Research, Preparing Presentations, Attending meetings, Drafting and a few CS work if asked for.
One gets a lot of exposure in the field of Startups, Legal compliances, IP etc. Mr. Sarpal is very young and learning. He is patient in his approach to addressing the interns concerns and gives enough time for the task to be accomplished. One is treated as an associate rather than an intern and is given the same set of respect and responsibilities as an associate.
No strict dress code.
Friendly and comfortable environment with a tad of professionalism.
Flexible lunch timings.
The office has a lot of places to eat around including street food.
Twice a day you get Chai for refreshments in the office. There are many restaurants around with reasonable prices to eat.
Accommodation, commuting to the office
I lived in the college hostel and commuted via auto-rickshaw.
Anything else, what you did to chill out, lessons learnt etc
I consider this internship as one of the best internships of my college life. Being a second year, I was given a huge set of responsibilities and it helped me grow as a person, as a lawyer but it never stressed me out as I was properly addressed with all and any doubts I had.
Moreover, I had the first-hand experience of drafting shareholder’s agreement, filing a company’s annual return and registering a company along with finding the company name and filing for DIN/TIN. I learnt a lot of things which are helping me to date.

I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
