First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
The very first day we were given a brief introduction to the various Courts and along with this, we visited district Courts. We were also introduced to the staff and were given an update regarding the ongoing matters.
One of the main tasks which was given to us was reading of case files every day and further to research for the same such as cases related to it and sections dealing in those cases.
The next day along with our associates used to go to the Court where the case which was previously read by us would further proceed. This was the best part as this would give us a brief on how to plead before the Hon’ble Court. Another important task which was given to me was to maintain the lawyer’s diary.
During all this, we were free to approach any of our Senior Associate or Junior associates. Apart from that we also used to hear various other matters too in the Court which used to be very interesting.
The main thing which I learnt from this internship was how to prepare for any argument and how to develop and enhance one’s research skills and what all should be included in good research.
This internship was done by me in my hometown
For those who want to go in litigation can apply here as this would enhance your knowledge regarding Court matters and proceedings.
