Application Process

The Process is really simple and hassle-free. We have to send mail to info[at]pravaglaw.com. They usually revert back in a day or two. The next step is an interview where they will question you about the things written in your CV. Then they shortlist the candidates and email you if you are selected.

First Day Formalities Initial Impressions

The office is small and compact. My first day was quite chilled out and easy to go with. The partners were really sweet in explaining the work and enough time was given to complete the task. The Partners introduced me to all the associates of the firm and yeah that’s all it was.

Main Tasks

I was basically asked to write articles on various topics related to the cases in the firm. My main interest was in IPR, so they were keen to give me more of IPR cases. In the course of my internship, I had almost written around 6-7 Articles and yes I gained immense knowledge. It is more like you write and learn. Then they have asked me to prepare a compliance report on Labour Law, draft written statements and do due diligence.

Good Things

The most important thing I liked about this firm was I got to learn a lot of court process and the associates were kind enough to teach us from scratch.

Bad Things

I was not interested much in compliance so I found that particular thing kind off of the track. Apart from that everything was calm and free.

Stipend

Rs. 5,000/-

Accommodation and Commuting

Since I am Chennaite, accommodation was not an issue. But, if someone has to come from outside then it might be a little difficult to find one close to the office. However, the city comes with an excellent metro facility and the firm is located quite near the metro so it might solve the problem of travel.

Other Info

The partners were quite lenient to give the interns their own free time and the roads were calm ann green so I used to walk around the streets.
