About the Organization:
The office is a very reputed institution known for its professionalism and its holistic environment for learning.
Mr. Murari Tiwari is currently a Member of the Bar Council of Delhi and has also in the past held the coveted post of Secretary, Bar Council of Delhi.
Mr. Tripurari Tiwari is a very reputed lawyer who has an experience of more than 25 years and is respected by one and all in the legal fraternity.
I reported to the office at Defence Colony where I was introduced to everyone working in the office. The work started from the first day itself which was directly allotted to me by Mr. Tripurari Tiwari who takes a very keen interest to teach the interns.
I had to attend the court proceedings at the various District Courts in Delhi and the Delhi High Court. The main task during such proceedings was to assist the Senior in his arguments.
After Court hours, the work was allotted at the office wherein I was given a huge array of tasks which included researching, preparing briefs, provide an insight into any case whenever the Senior asked for it and drafting.
The entire experience at the office was cherished as the Seniors always treated the interns at par with the Associates. If an intern is found to be competent, the Seniors even asked them to prepare their arguments for the Court.
The Seniors even allowed the interns to participate in client meetings. The best part of the internship was the teaching culture and the humbleness of every Senior.
The only bad thing in the entire internship experience was that I had to leave the office to continue with the College studies.
Accommodation and Commuting to the Office:
I resided at home and commuted through Metro.
The Seniors and the Associates are so humble that one always wishes that the internship never gets over. If one truly wants to learn, this is the place to intern. But do keep in mind that only 4th and 5th Year students are allowed.
Disclaimer: Internship experiences are opinions shared by individual law students and tend to be personal and subjective in nature. The internship experiences shared on Lawctopus are NOT Lawctopus official views on the internship.
I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
