Infrastructure, First-day Formalities and First Impression
The office is compact yet spacious with a good collection of law books and a pantry. The interns are asked to report at 10.00 am and are provided with a work desk with a computer and other required stationery.
The interns are introduced to the associates and are given the opportunity to interact with the Managing Partner on the first day itself. Once settled, the work starts flowing in.
The firm basically is a litigation firm so it basically deals with the arbitration, consumer disputes, debt recovery matters, RTI, civil disputes, property suit, constitutional matters.
Most of my work included making a brief of cases, research work, drafting and assisting partners to Supreme Court, High court, District Courts and for Arbitration etc.
The extensive research work helps in gaining immense exposure and knowledge of the arbitration matter, media laws, energy laws, property suit.
Working in the firm is not only informative but also interactive and provided a very practical aspect of law and its application on a first-hand basis.
The team is a small one which works as an advantage as for the interns as there is always work on hands.
The Managing Partner and the associates are extremely helpful and approachable at all given point.
The senior partners and associates were always there whenever I needed help. The work environment is friendly yet professional and this makes working in Law Offices of India a joyful experience.
The interns are treated as a part of the firm and due credit is given to their work.
There are no bad things as such and even if any, the work environment and the atmosphere compensate for everything.

I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
