First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
When you reach office on the first day, you have to fill a couple of sheets, with your details and submit a few documents to Saher ma’am who is the admin in charge. They have a separate space for interns and you would be required to carry your own laptop.
During my one month at KSK, I worked under Mr. Kulin Dave, who is a very experienced advocate and works with the Corporate team. Kulin sir is a mentor that every law student would be lucky to have during their learning process.
He gave me a varied amount of work including Research under various Acts, drafting agreements and documents. He always encouraged a lot of reading of Company Law and the latest legal updates.
He also gave us various topics to write articles on, and if any article was approved, it would be published on the firm’s website. Overall, the quality of work was really good, and there was constantly something new to learn.
- Good quality of work and you are never overburdened.
- Associates are very friendly and patiently guide interns in case of any difficulties.
- Any travel expenses for the firm’s work would be reimbursed.
I am from Mumbai itself, staying at Santacruz. I would take a train to Churchgate and from there, there are share taxis available easily which drop one off at Nariman Point and also taxis from Nariman Point to Churchgate station.
There are a lot of places nearby to eat and even to order from. CR-2 mall is at a 5-minute walk from the office. Also, you can easily go for a walk to Marine drive in the afternoons, which is at a very short distance.
My overall experience at King Stubb & Kasiva was a great one since I learnt a lot from everyone at the firm.
