How did you apply?
I applied through lawctopus however, one can apply via emailing their CV at info[at]khannaandassociates.com.
I was asked to report at 10:00 Am. I met my internship supervisor who took an informal interview and guided me through the paraphernalia in the office and briefed me as to how the work is done, working hours etc.
I was also introduced to other co-interns. The office operates in a comfortable sphere and it has a co-working space. The working hours are 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
The firm offers a wide range of services and specializes in corporate, IPR and Family law. Due to their vast client base, my main tasks included drafting commercial agreements and doing research work related to the client queries.
I had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters related to Company Law, Family Law, Goods and Services Act, Contract Law and many more. Every task is thoroughly explained and guided by the associate. After the completion of the
assigned task, it is checked by the associate himself and then he discusses it with you. He ensures that you have learnt something from the task and if you are stuck somewhere, you can feel free to ask for his assistance.
The good thing is that they give you a lot of work to do. So, if you are not looking for an internship which requires you to put efforts then you will not enjoy working here. And this can prove to be a disadvantage for the people who do not take internships seriously.
In addition to this, you will learn a lot of things here starting from making agreements such as Joint Venture Agreements to Employment Contracts. The associates are very supportive and the work environment is very comfortable.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the associates of the firm for providing me with such a great opportunity. Being trusted with such important and new work has been very illuminating. I have learnt a lot of new things which I did not learn in my earlier internships. It is surely a place, I can suggest to my colleagues.
I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
