First Day Formalities Initial Impressions

first day I reached the Chamber of Karnail Sir around 9:30 AM. I met there to Naveen Sir an associate of Karnail Sir. He made me sit and later on sent with other co-intern to court for a hearing.

I was asked to observe the court proceeding and note down the activity in your personal diary. After hearing I got introduced myself to the Sir and he said come on time.

However, there was no such First-day formality and I found myself reliving as there was a friendly atmosphere to work each and every associate were helpful.

Main Tasks

Interns were allocated various tasks such as case reading and summarization, research work, cases to be heard next day and point out loopholes as well as solutions, taking a pass over and adjournments, daily court visit of criminal, civil and family matters etc.

Good Things

The work environment was pretty good. Sir himself explain the matters after hearing and says to intern to ask for any legal query. In the second half interns were free to go to their homes.

Bad Things

There were no bad things

Stipend

No

Accommodation Commute

I stayed in Noida and travel to Saket Court by Metro to Chirag Delhi Metro station, from there a few minute bus travel or sometimes auto. For food court canteen is best there.

Other Info

For research and reading of books, there was a library court just a few steps from the chamber.
