FIRST DAY FORMALITIES

There were no formalities as such. I was quite nervous and excited to work at the firm. I got a task to research the current judgments related to franchise agreement by my senior.

Later, I was introduced to JLJ Team. Manish Jain Sir, the managing partner who assigned me to make the report on Anti-Bribery which I did with all my vigour for autodidacticism. The day ended with lots of motivation and passion to give my best in every task assigned to me.

MAIN TASK

My main task was research on current judgments and to make case briefs. I dealt with several topics in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, Negotiable Instrument Act 1881, Money Laundering Act 2002, Prevention of Corruption Act 1988, SARFASEI Act 2002, etc within one month.

I had good work experience and self-learning. My work was divided into two parts. The research and report making on Anti- Bribery and Secondly, day to day tasks. I always made sure to complete the daily task by the end of the day.

GOOD THINGS

The work environment is so friendly. Manish Jain Sir an amazing person, who always supported me and be my counsellor during those times. My seniors, Anjali ma’am and Hardik sir are very helpful and kind. I learned a lot of things whether it is morals and values especially from Sougata Ganguly sir, and practical knowledge.
