Experience, Main Task, Lessons Learnt

As a law student at the Institute of Law Nirma University, I participated in a one-month summer internship at International Journal of Advanced Legal Research, which started on 1st June 2021 and ended on 30th June 2021.I applied for the internship by mailing them my CV and showing them my interest in the opportunity.

I started interning at the journal’s research department, and I primarily interacted with the research instructor and COO of the journal. However, there wasn’t any stipend provided for the work.

The main task of my internship was to research and write short articles as well as essays. I also analysed judgement and statute, throughout the course of this internship.

Overall, the experience proved to be both enjoyable and rewarding. I found the writing concepts and frameworks that I learned during this internship to be relevant and useful when working on my practical assignments. Also, the work environment was very friendly and encouraging. There was a healthy and supportive relation between co interns.

I did, however, encounter some difficulties working on the task. However, the guidance provided by the instructor proved to be really helpful in solving the slightest of the problems.
