First Day Formalities initial impression
On the first day, I was asked to sit in the conference room after which I was introduced to all the associates. It is a spacious office and all associates and interns sit together so we can get work from anyone at any point in time. On my first day, I got some files that I had to read can come up with issues which had to be raised in the further proceedings.
The first work I got was to do research on a factual based situation regarding an Insolvency & Bankruptcy for which I had to assist sir with the relevant case laws. They also provide me with the assessment of their SCC Online website in order to ease my research work.
The main tasks at the office involve extensive research work in the field of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Company Law and Arbitration matter the quality of work is great and I got to learn many things which will definitely help me in future.
The best thing about this internship is that you get practical exposure and encouragement towards working hard. Since it’s a Full-Service firm, you get to deal with different fields of work which makes us understand where actually our interest lies.
There is hardly any internship out there like this one that goes beyond mere head knowledge to the more crucial dimension of argument formation and transformation. I didn’t just learn, I grew more. The internship gave me a better insight of the Indian Legal System. I enjoyed being treated as a colleague & not as a summer intern.
I have nothing to label as bad things or bad experience
The office is situated at Todermal Road, Mandi House. It is just a 5 minutes walk from the Mandi House Metro Station.
Dinesh sir, RS Lakshman sir and Ashwini sir were very generous. We also used to chat on latest topics, changing laws which ultimately helped us get in touch with current affairs and expanded our knowledge Everyone there was very friendly and nice; the associates there were very understanding.

I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
