Duration of Internship and Timings
21st August 2019 to 13th November 2019 (10 weeks)
9.30 am – 5.30 pm for interns. Though all of us are passionate researchers we used to work till 9:00 to 9:30 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The first impression was absolutely mesmerizing and at the very first day I had the orientation session by the Centre Head Dr. Shambhu Prasad Chakrabarty Sir. It is a Government-funded organization, which takes up various field project that made me realize the current social scenario.
I had to submit a progress report every week. The research center is well equipped and the infrastructure of the university is very splendid.
Work environment and people
The work environment was chilled and pretty friendly, the office had air conditioner, the internet framework was proper as it has both Lan Connection & Wifi. Every Person is very nice and I have no hesitation to mention that I share a special bond with them and when I miss them I simply go there to meet them.
Getting an opportunity to work with such a great team is ‘THE BEST’ memory that one can have.
If you are not a passionate researcher you won’t enjoy.
“Bereft of morality nothing could be achieved, what to speak of law,” Shambhu Sir told me in the last day. I thoroughly realized that it is our society and it is our duty to make it better.
Kolkata is my home town.

I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
