First impression, First day formalities, Infrastructure
When I received a confirmation mail from sir’s office, I was asked to report at 3 pm in office for orientation and interview.
In Interview, Sir asked some basic question like why you chose law, my favourite subject in law, aim ahead, things I liked about litigation and some basic theory questions, which I answered with utter confidence.
Sir acquainted us with the work that we were supposed to do for the entire period of our internship.
We were allotted individual working desks and allotted research work. One of the Associates gave us an overview of their internship programmed. There were three interns when I joined which later increased to six. Staff was very friendly and Cooperative.
The first day we were given a case file to read regarding a matter in NCDRC. Sir had asked to go through it as we had to brief him of the case the next day. Later, when we briefed Sir, he appreciated our work.
We went with him to NCDRC where the matter was to be heard and learned presiding officer gave a further date for the case. Insurance matters are the most focused area of this firm.
The environment is friendly, lively and everyone gets up well. Got to learn about the drafting.
Most of the time we asked to read the files only it became quite boring.
Accommodation, commuting to the office
I stayed in a PG in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi which is around 1 km away from the office. You will find many PGs near the office too.
