Internship Experience

My journey with Anhad Pravah has been short, but a beautiful and lively one. I joined this organisation as a legal intern to add some value to my career, but this organisation has a culture that adds value to my life more than a normal NGO internship would have done. This internship helped me to acquire social and interaction skills. It inculcated the communicating etiquettes into my personality and helped me to emerge as the best version of myself.

Here, the environment is very conducive to learning. The roles and responsibilities are clearly conveyed to you on the very first day of the week. And if you are stuck while doing something, you can easily reach out to your mentors and they will let you know the way out.

The organisational culture provides us with an open space where you can express yourself to the fullest. And the organisation connects with other organisations working for a similar cause, providing us with a platform to connect with more people and creating a comfortable space for interacting with new people. I got to know how things work in an organisation and how people cooperate and channelise their efforts for the betterment of society.

I explored the usage of the app Canva to the fullest and now I know how to use each and every function of it. I think this will help me in the future whenever I try to put down some creative ideas of mine onto the material. With this enhanced knowledge, I came up with various creative social media visibility ideas.

Through this poster and social media visibility, we ran a fundraising program to enhance the reach and network of the organisation, which turned out to be a huge success. I made my full efforts to complete the assigned tasks on time, and my mentors were also happy with this.

Through this small role at Anhad Pravah, I tried to contribute my little bit to the change and betterment of society. If I didn’t have this internship with so many like-minded and new individuals, I wouldn’t have honed my research and leadership skills so much. I look forward to reflecting on the talents gained from this internship in my future efforts.
