One Month Internship from July 1 to July 31, 2019. Working hours for interns were 9:45 am to 5:30 pm.
I sent my Curriculum Vitae on email id of Advocate Amarjeet Singh Sahni.
First Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression:
On my first day to internship, I introduced myself to all the associates after which we went for court proceedings. Chamber is comparatively spacious than the other chambers and is very well maintained.
Interns are generally made to do clerical work, research on various judgments, read files and visit court. I visited all District Courts of Delhi and also Delhi High Court.
Talking about the good things a whole list can be prepared from a friendly work environment to the learning experience one can get by interning here.
The best part about this internship was that all our doubts were cleared by sir himself. He used to take out time from his busy schedule to clear our concepts and shared in-depth knowledge about the profession.
An intern has a lot more to learn other than just sections and different laws. Sir constantly guides about how to tackle different situations be it in court or in meetings with clients. Lunches were another best part as everybody used to sit together and have a refreshing break keeping aside all the workload.
There was no bad thing as such about the internship. When you have so many good things to talk about, bad things hold no place.
Yes, a small token of appreciation was given to me along with the certificate. But there was something more important that was given to me by sir in the form of a life lesson that is hard work and patience is all you need and the sky is the limit.
Accommodation, Commuting to the office:
As I am a Delhi NCR resident I travelled from my home itself through Delhi metro. Nearest metro station to the office is TiS Hazari Metro Station and it is the best way to commute to and from office.
The environment at the office was so cool that we never had to go out for chilling. Whenever everyone had time in the chamber we used to share our life experiences and have fun during coffee breaks. We also went for lunches outside with the whole team a few times.

I am an army girl! In a barbie world! Keeper of 5 dogs. On a diet for now. Sometimes I might make punctuation mistakes, but I make up for it by bringing in a crore or two extra. What's more important, a misplaced comma, or a well-placed crore?
