Application Procedure
The procedure is very simple. You just have to send your CV to Adv. Aditi Gupta (an associate of Fuzail Sir) at guptaaditi246[at]gmail.com.
Internship Duration and Office Timings
4 weeks (15th June 2019 to 13th July 2019)
We have to report at 9:30 am and there’s no specified out time but after 6:30 one can ask the associates whether they can leave or not.
Main Tasks
We were given documents (related to ongoing cases) to translate, research work on different cases and topics, case briefing, drafting and filing applications and we also visited Supreme Court several times where we basically observed pleadings.
And after few days interns are alloted with a topic (either sir allots the topic or interns can choose by themselves) for preparing a presentation which is to be presented before the whole team (sir, his associates and interns) on their last day of internship.
Work Environment
The working environment was pretty good. We used to sit with the associates and work on the alloted topics. Though sir doesn’t sit with us we can easily go to him and ask any kind of questions or help we needed. Fuzail sir is very calm and humble. His associates are also very helpful and they are the one who made my journey easier.
Best Thing
The best thing about this experience is I have learnt a lot. This was my first internship where they really made me work. Those who are interested in litigation must give it a try. It is an opportunity one should not miss.
Stipend
