First Day Formalities Initial Impressions

No such formalities were there. Have thorough knowledge about criminal laws since he deals with criminal cases and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS).

Main Tasks

  1. Observe the court proceedings
  2. Read case files
  3. Filled bail bonds, income affidavit, vakalatnama and how to write complaints
  4. Met Investigating Officers of related cases
  5. Briefing of the case
  6. Drafting

Good Things

Sir was quite lenient and he kept informing us about his experience of being a lawyer for the past 27 years. Apart from that, we kept discussing the burning social issues related to law. He also used to discuss various case laws with us and gave us insight into the NDPS act. We went to various mediation centres and that of Karkardooma, Saket and Patiala house court. We also visited family courts of the above mentioned courts. He also used to offer us lunch and use to drop us off homes

Bad Things

Sir was quite strict about the timing.


No Stipend

Accommodation Commute

I stayed at paying guest accommodation at Saket.

Other Info

Sat in the library and canteens. The food was affordable and delicious.
