Application Process

One can apply for an internship with the firm through an online application providing all the necessary information through the firm’s official website.

Also one can drop an e-mail to Ms. Sangeeta Sharma who is the HR head at sangeeta[at]

Once the internship is confirmed, the applicant will receive a mail regarding the duration of the internship. However, the applicant needs to apply really well in advance as they have limited slots.

First Day Formalities Initial Impressions

On the first day, the intern is supposed to reach the office at 10:00 am, whereinafter there is a short introduction with the HR wherein the interns are acquainted with the firm policies and working ways, including the non-disclosure agreement. The departments are allotted and accordingly, mentors are assigned to take work from.

An intern is required to fill a form providing all the necessary information. The office infrastructure is beautiful with well-divided departments and a very well collected IP and Law Library, with almost a lot of material available. The workspace and environment are very friendly and the associates, as well as seniors in the firm, are very sweet.

Main Tasks

I interned with the Litigation Department, however, did not hesitate to take work from any department as and when I was free. The main tasks primarily involved were extensive research on propositions, drafting notices, replies, advisory opinions as well as pleadings at times.

Further, I was also involved in client meetings and senior briefings on cases I was working on. Further, work on their knowledge base development also happens, wherein interns are supposed to work on research papers and articles and are duly credited for their work.

Good Things

The best part about the firm is that there is no dearth of work at any given time. It involves research with a very academic perspective on a lot of interesting and challenging propositions. Even the partners are very approachable and work on a personal level with the interns.

Further, the associates help and literally guide on how to reach a satisfactory level of research on the propositions. Even on a drafting assignment, they review and get back to the interns for them to be able to improve and learn adequately. The work environment is very supportive, non-discriminatory and sweet.

There is a coffee/tea machine present in the office which is available to all, and very well stocked cafeteria which treats employees and interns alike. Also, Wednesday lunch is free.

Bad Things

I can literally think of no bad things, as it was an amazing experience for me.

Rs. 2500

Accommodation Commute

I lived in Noida itself, so, the commute was barely a seven-minute ride to the office.

Other Info

Continuously go and ask for work as there are really interesting and challenging propositions. Also, do not hesitate to approach partners. They are very approachable and sweet.
