Application Process

I applied by sending a mail to [email ID removed on request].

Duration of internship and timings

I did my internship for a month.

Timings were very strict for the interns, from 10:00 to 7:00.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

He has a big office in Mukherjee Nagar and Chambers in almost all district courts and also in High Court.

On the first day, he asked about academic background and my interests in allied field pertaining to law in a very friendly manner.

The office and all the chambers were A.C. equipped and it was very comfortable working in that ambiance.

Main tasks

He deals with many cases pertaining to both criminal as well as civil.

I, along with my co-intern, was required to report at 10:00 am in the prescribed place as was notified to us the previous day, wherein I used to hear his arguments and take note the relevant points and his mannerism in the court room.

Then, in the Chamber or the Office, I was given research based works to find out relevant case laws on allied fields pertaining to law.

Work environment and people

I felt very comfortable working there.

He also used to address all the legal problems of the interns pertaining to his work and was very helpful.

His way of analyzing a legal problem and his drafting skills, as far as I observed by reading the memos and his arguments, was very great and served to be a great experience for me.

Best things

I never remained idle as he has lots of work and always used to allot some work to the interns.
