First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

I reached the office around 10:15.

The receptionist asked me to sit in a waiting room.

Later I was handed a form to be filled by the interns and attach a photo to it.

I was able to meet sir only in the later part of the day and had a short introductory meeting of 10 minutes.

He assigned me with a file to read and make key points on it.

As of infrastructure, office is awesome, there is a separate hall for interns with a seating of around 10-12 people, a work station, a filing room and to top it all everything is air conditioned.

Main tasks

Drafting for the seniors, research for the juniors.

Interns were generally asked to find relevant judgements on specific legal issues and make synopsis for the same.

Work environment and people

All the associates and office staff was very helpful.

They always treat interns with due respect.

Best things

The rich library, good infrastructure, the arbitration meetings.

Biggest Lessons

The wide scope in the field of Arbitration and the intellectual lectures delivered by Ratan sir.
