Application Process with contact details

Actually, he was my father’s friend, and he used to come home. One day, in random I asked him for internship, he said that come to my office tomorrow by asking my year of studying.

Duration of internship and timings

1 August, 2014- 25th August, 2014.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First impression- I was at sharp 10 in his chamber, I have moved as an intern for the very first time in my career as a law student and the way I was welcomed with a best office environment I have seen anywhere with one of the best impression in my mind.

First day formalities- greeted him with a warm good morning, there was nothing for formalities. a questionnaire session with me related to my subjects and a general discussion on the present matter which was going to court room for hearing.

Infrastructure- the office was good as compared to others. It was nice with stacks of legal books and case files.

Main tasks

Being in 3rd year at that time, I only used to work or focus on which matters those were related to my recent and previous subjects. There was various things to learn about better things that you actually don’t get to learn in college.

My daily main task was to watch court proceedings, case readings, read different suits on daily basis and also to form a rough draft over them along with the court visits.

The most important part of my internship is to listen the discussion between clients and sir.

Work environment and people

Work environment was very good, everyone out there was very helpful. being in a legal profession gives a gist of everything and everyone. Experience shows all kinds of people such as lawyers, judges, criminals and victims.

But, yes, everything was well mannered.

Best things

After being a part of court and Sir as an intern, I came across one of the best environment regarding working point as well as cooperation.

During that time i used to ask myself various questions related to matters. The best thing was the behaviour of my Sir, he was very polite every time.

1. the best place to startup your internship.

2. good cooperative environment.

3. experience to deal different suits and cases in High Court and how to plead before a High Court judge.

Bad things

Nothing much, but yes, something I got bored by having no work.

No Stipend, but sometimes, lunch was provided by sir.

Biggest Lessons

Every day gives us something new to learn, to be inspired for. A best decision of mine to work in High court. It takes everything you have, to go and and stand in front of that bench and be someone’s lawyer.

Office Timings

Office timing is flexible. There was no such restriction for coming to office but yes you will to make yourself as on time.
