As of now, they do not have an email ID or fax machine, so one has to dial up or meet people in person for the internship. Internships are easily available. But they check for knowledge related to contracts.
One is expected to assist all the advocates in court and read multiple numbers of pleadings, judgments, and articles to increase your knowledge base. The internship is very much office based. The office insists on knowing your substantive law before you step into procedural law. They also take you on court visits, if you are willing enough.
Work Environment and People
Everyone in the office is kind and helpful. You can learn a lot from the clerk than from the lawyers. The office sees many numbers of labour cases and takes up legal aid amidst a busy schedule.
For, other state interns, the office and the court are very close by and in the heart of town, so it easily commutable. After finishing your internship at the office, you would feel as if you had gained a year’s law school knowledge in a matter of 2 months.
