First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The first day of my internship at consumer court Ara was very good.
On the first day I saw the court and how the proceeding was going on a formal introduction was done in the first day.
The building and environment was good well arranged.
Main tasks
First I got to learn about the consumer rights and how consumer court are protecting the rights of consumers and how cases are being filed and proceeding related to it.
Then after I used to saw the proceedings of the court and how judgments and order was given.
Work environment and people
Work environment was good and the people and staff over there were very helpful and cooperative.
Best things
Rather than a theoretical concept I got the chance to learn from the practical experience which was very interesting as well.
I came across various cases which is related to our daily work life mean the work we do or the things we purchase and the issues the consumers were facing.
As earlier I thought people don’t file cases for such petty violation of consumer rights but i was wrong the do.
Bad things
The bad thing which I felt during this internship was their working culture as whenever any lawyer the court either of consumer court or district court dies then for that day they close the consumer court and during my intern it happens twice which I felt is bad.
Stipend
No
Biggest Lessons
As I mentioned earlier no right lesser important then others.
All the rights of individual is of same importance whether it consumer rights or others.
I became more aware of consumer rights and also more conscious of these rights.
Accommodation
As it is my native place so no problem of accommodation was there but one can easily get PG and rooms near by it.
