The main task were to teach some poor but amazing children in the campus of the NGO as they came daily. We also visited many slum areas to do surveys on issued like drainage and health conditions and the results sometimes were very shocking and sometimes very soothing.
Work environment and people
The work environment was very good. Through the NGO I came to know many different types of people. As different types of people visited there on daily basis.
This internship was very helpful to me in knowing the real world is full of hardship and difficulties.
I came to know about the pathetic situation of poor people of our country and how all facilities they are deprived of.
They are deprived of very basic facilities which make there life’s awful.
I came to know how laws are used by NGO’s to make it a little easy.
The visit to slum areas are not good at times as the condition there can really shake you.
We had to sit idol in office sometimes that worst part of the internship.
The internship was a life changing experience for me as the illusion about life was over after coming across the situation of poor in our country.
I came to know about their requirements and how ever individual cab do a little to make the situation a little better.
Any Other Thing
NGO plays a very important role in filling the societal objectives now a days. NGOs have become a necessary part of the societal framework today for the upliftment of needy. Some great work has been done by them and some is being done by them.
Had local accommodation as I am a localite.
10:00 am to 5:00 pm
