Chambers of Advocate Nadeem Murtaza, Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench.

Application Process with contact details

For the application you have to go to his chamber and meet him personally with your CV and application.

Duration of internship and timings

1 month. I interned there in June.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the very first day I have to go with my CV and application form to meet sir. The chamber is in Gomti Nagar. It is not a very big office but it is good have enough space to work.

Main tasks

Main task was to go through file and prepare case briefs for the counsel working there. Sometimes they also allot us work regarding preparing written statements for the cases they were going to appear.

Work environment and people

Work environment was very good there. Sir has very little staff. Only 2 counsel and one clerk. Both the counsel along with sir was very helpful, they help us every time.

Whenever we have problem in understanding something whether it is regarding any law or about anything else.

They were always ready to help. Since we were interning in June, whenever Nadeem sir did not any work they used to sit with us and teach us Cr.P.C. and Evidence Law. Which was the best thing I found in the internship.

Best things

As I mentioned earlier Nadeem Sir used to teach us CrPC and Evidence. Best thing.

Bad things

No bad thing as such.

Biggest Lessons

Practical knowledge is very important in life. Also if are going to practice law in Uttar Pradesh your Hindi must be very strong.

Any Other Thing

Overall Rating

I stayed in my college hostel.

Office Timings

Since I was interning in June the High Court was closed therefore we have work only in the office, the timing was 6 to 10 in the evening. The office was close on Saturday but open on Sunday.
