Formal clothing, a proper lawyer’s office with three main cabins and cubicals for interns.
Main tasks
The basis of all civil and criminal procedures beginning from filing a suit in a district court. Drafting along with reading judgement and preparing head notes constituted the major tasks.
Work environment and people
Work environment was good and friendly.
Other interns were friendly too.
The associates helped a lot as I was totally new to such type of work.
Best things
The lawyer was attending me and all other interns personally. I could ask the most simpliest thing fearlessly, through which I learned a lot.
Bad things
All the major work happens after 5.00 p.m because the court hours are over by then. So could not really participate in the major drafting.
Stipend
None
Biggest Lessons
I learned that if you want work or are willing to work u have to ask for the same. No one will cone behind you for work. And time is so important. Completion of work in time creates a healthy impression.
