First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
It is a well-managed office with newly furnished ambiance. Though as a disclaimer to interns I would say, don’t go by the cover of the book! Yes, the entrance might not please you but once you get inside the office rooms, the main desk of Sir welcomes you along with small chamber like area furnished for juniors beside it.
The ideal positioning of the place i.e. near Vidhan Sabha and High Court, makes it worth overall.
The major tasks can be compiled as follows:
Registry Work related to property and plots as under JDA and Nagar Nigam
Basics of Drafting
Research work, Scrutiny of Files etc.
Mostly the work related to Insurance, Banking and Property issues.
Work environment and people
An exceptionally fertile work environment with flexibility, allowing interns to enjoy and learn parallel, with Sir himself and his juniors who tend to be very co-operative.
Advocate Jitendra Sir is a friendly person who extends his co-operation at various levels of the internship. He doesn’t expect you to know everything and doesn’t hesitate to teach you like a guide.
As a senior authority Sir is very particular about the task given and its completion.
The biggest lesson one could learn here is sincerity regarding work and professionalism.
