I got it through Career Development & Placement Division of my college. I sent my resume and kept CDPD in loop. They followed up on it and I got it confirmed in a month.

Duration of internship and timings

June 2015

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Their office was in a residential apartment in Gurgaon.

On first day, they welcomed me, introduced me to all other advocates working there.

They celebrated the winning of the case on that day. After that, they instructed me as to how they work on cases.

Main tasks

I prepared case briefs and told them how is it distinguished on facts.

Then, I helped in drafting SLP on an environmental law case. I also did a bit of research on disability laws in India.

Work environment and people

People there were really friendly.

They taught me a lot.

They used to offer me tea/ coffee twice a day.

We also used to have small pizza party.

Best things

Cybercity was very near to that. So, I used to chill out with my friends in the break time.

Bad things

The only problem was if I had to leave a bit early, I used to tell them in advance but they used to forget it every time.

Rs. 5000

Biggest Lessons

You should always send reminders to your seniors. Basically, if you need work, you need to grab it.

Any Other Thing

Overall Rating

I used to up down daily to their office.

Office Timings

9:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Timings were really relaxed. They themselves were not on time.
