How big was the office? Team strength:Office was situated at first floor of a house in a residential area. There were 8 rooms out of which two were turned into a library and client counselling room. Others were used by the members. Though they they have not officially announced themselves as a firm, they do function like one.

Duration in weeks. No. of days/week. Timings:I interned for one month. Timings were 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. But you might have to stay back till 8:00 if there is some important work. The office functions on Saturdays and Sundays however for the interns it is voluntary.
Accommodation:I arranged for a flat near the High Court through my personal contacts.
First impression. First day, formalities etc:We were given a formal welcome at the starting. You will be introduced to all the members in the office. Then you will be asked your area of interest and your skills so that you can be assigned some work.
Main tasks:You will be asked to do research on miscellaneous topics. You have to frame arguments for your party. Also find appropriate case law if necessary. The work was assigned according to our skills. My co-intern was given drafting work whereas my work was confined to research and argument framing. We generally dealt with contractual matters and writ petitions.
Work environment, people:Each and every employee of the office is friendly. You can ask for help anytime, they won’t mind.
Best things:A person who has no knowledge of drafting can easily achieve this skill. You are practically trained. Sir will discuss the court matters with you individually. Frequent court visits will give you an idea about courtroom proceedings.
Bad things:Your research must be good otherwise they will not consider it at all.
What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues:There are food plazas and market nearby. If you have 2-3 hours to kill you can go for a movies at Jyoti Cinema.
