Application Process with contact details

Application with CV and abstract within 500 words on any of the four given topic i.e. Child Labour, Right to Education, Right to food/ child marriage and Juvenile Justice should be forwarded on the email id: ccl@nls.ac.in under the heading of “Application for internship” one month prior to the specified date of internship.

On the basis of written abstract selection of intern is done and then the information will be sent via mail.

Duration of internship and timings

The duration of internship is flexible, one can apply for internship as per their available date of vacation.

My internship period is from 13th June 2016 to 13th July 2016.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the first day I have reached there on time i.e. at 9:30. After reaching at CCL inside NLSIU campus office, they take and give the introduction about the work and also assign you the work or topic which you have to perform in upcoming one month.

Main tasks

The main task is to prepare a detailed research work on the assigned topic by sitting in library. At library each and every resource is available which is needed for a good research paper.

Daily at morning you have to meet your mentor and have to show daily the work’s progress.

At last after the completion of work,one have to give presentation on the assigned topic along with the research work.

Work environment and people

The work environment is friendly. For any doubt and help you can ask the mentor, he/she will help in a very affirmative way. Mentors are very helpful.

Time to time lecture is also organized which is also helpful for intern.

Best things

A good research and presentation skill will be developed after the completion of internship.

Hectic schedule.

Biggest Lessons

Being a law student, all should know how to write a good research paper.

Any Other Thing

Formal wear is not compulsory.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not provided by the University but one can easily get PG around university easily at an affordable rate.

Office Timings

The timing is from 9:30 am to 5 pm.

One have to sit in library for doing all the work.

It is not strict timing.
