First day, I was directed towards my work desk and IT department personnel gave me my official email address and configured my work desk and provided me with the details I would be needing. Later on i was asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Then all the interns were called for a meeting by the HR Manager who would head the functioning of interns. He briefed us on the work we would do and assigned us to the said departments and our choice was considered but Patent and Technology Dept. is assigned only if one has Graduated in field of Science (B.Tech) or prior experience in the said field.

Main tasks

Each intern is first assigned to a Department under which he or she works, they are:

1. Trademark and Consulting Division

2. Patent

3. Technology

4. Media and Entertainment

Thus each interns field of work is limited to his department.

Tasks include: Presentation on a said topic (this could be a case or a law); Write research articles; Drafting of Agreements; Drafting agreement response; Writing articles for company’s blog; Engaging on projects of the firm.

Work environment and people

Very friendly and even partners are friendly and approachable, help is easily available from everyone.

Environment is not very formal and strict. Noone is overloaded with work.

Best things

Learning experience as we explore in new fields of law, real cases and business agreements.

Work is not monotonous and we are allowed to have a free hand in work with only basic guidance provided thus enhancing our working experience.

Lots of insights into real life problems and how laws are interpreted in different spheres and geographical places.

Work is limited with each time a new field to work in thus each day a new experience.

Bad things

Didn’t find any.

Biggest Lessons
