About the Firm
The firm is a product of the merger between TMT Law Practice and DPSA Legal. The Senior Partner is Mr. DP Singh and the Partners are Mr. Kaushik Moitra and Ms. Sonam Gupta.
The firm has offices in Delhi and Mumbai. I interned in the Delhi one which is located at Equity Mansion, Nehru Enclave.
All the interns are made to sit together in a room which facilitates better communication and a healthy learning as well as working atmosphere.
The associates are helpful, friendly and very welcoming.
It was my first time working at a firm and all my anxieties and fears were put to rest.
One can guarantee that one would leave this place after learning loads and with a much needed confidence in one’s abilities.
You can choose whether you want to work in litigation or IPR and according to that you are assigned to one to two associates.
The work given has to be judiciously completed within the given deadline. The firm has a library and access to SCC which aids sufficiently in all kind of research work.
In the duration of your internship you might have to work overtime and put in extra hours even on weekends but your work is taken into account and well appreciated.
If you are a hard worker and are sincere in your approach then this internship would be a time well spent.
Most importantly you get to interact with associates which are all very candid and helpful.
If you are lucky you will get to enjoy the company of your fellow interns, who in my case were all very friendly and supportive .
The firm is well located in the sense that it is near Nehru Place Metro Station and a lot of eateries deliver here.
Over uncountable mugs of coffee/tea, working at Arthe Law is a wonderful learning experience for an aspirational law student.
