Duration of internship and timings

I worked there for a period of 3 weeks. The timings were from 6 pm to 8:30 or 9. In the mornings, the senior advocate and juniors went to the court.

I was asked to come only in the evenings when they got back from the court.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

No formalities as such. The office was’t very big, but it was sufficient without being too congested.

Main tasks

The main tasks given to me at the chambers of Advocate Neeraja S Reddy were legal research and drafting.

Work environment and people

The work environment was good. I did not get to meet the juniors and talk to them much.

I used to sit along with Ma’am in her cabin. She was very helpful and patiently explained the court procedures etc.

Best things

The best thing was the timings. It was’t hectic at all. Since you had to go to the office in the evening one could attend college and then go for work.

It’s a great place to intern for second or third year students. You get to learn the basics here.

Bad things

No bad things.

No stipend.

Biggest Lessons

Got to learn the basics of the legal profession.
