Mrs. Manisha Tejas Karia, practicing as Advocate on record in Supreme Court and dealing with all kind of litigation at Supreme Court including technical subject like income tax, service/employment, company, arbitration, insurance, land acquisition and constitution etc.

The office is situated at D Block, No. 101, Defence Colony, New Delhi-411004 and other office is Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The chamber gives exposure to the interns in litigations at Delhi High Court and all other Appellate Tribunals including Company Law Board (Mumbai & Delhi), National Green Tribunal, National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Electricity Appellate Tribunal etc.


The office is situated at D Block, No. 101, Defence Colony, New Delhi-411004 and other office is Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The office has three juniors and two clerks who will not treat you indifferent but at par with them which always make you feel like a family and helps you to ease in the city like New Delhi and enjoy your work as well as profession.

Duration of Internship

1st November to 30th November, 2016

Application Procedure

Application comprising of Cover letter, Resume and SOP needs to be send one month prior to the commencement of  duration internship at and subsequently to be confirmed with the telephonic conversation. Applicant do not need to wait longer for the reply of their application as Ma’am replies personally immediately depending upon the availability of vacancy in the chamber.



In the Supreme Court of India, only Advocate-on-Record can file vakalatnama, a petition,an affidavit or any other application on the behalf of the party, therefore the work in the chamber significantly constitutes drafting of Special Leave Petition, Replies and Application where the intern gets a great opportunity to learn the Supreme Court Rules in order to understand the modus operandi of arrangement and successful filing of Special Leave Petitions and Second Appeals under the personal supervision and guidance of Manisha Ma’am followed by the critical appreciation of your work.

Her engagement in plethora of Arbitration matters and involvement in drafting, negotiating, due diligence exercise and closing number of transactions for corporate houses and drafted range of Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Venture Agreements makes the intern to expand the horizon of application of mind in order to choose the suitable clause as per the need of the party.


The chambers involvement in handling multiple areas of litigation needs the intern to research on the subject matter of dispute especially the taxation, intellectual property rights, Consumer dispute, Contractual dispute, Arbitration matters etc. as well as criminal matters. The availability of law databases such as lexis nexis, SCC online etc and library in the office makes the work convenient.


Filing of Special Leave Petition, Interim applications, affidavits etc. in the different courts is not a cakewalk for the young lawyers but the assistance and guidance of chamber’s juniors and well-trained clerks helps us to learn and enjoy the work during the internship period.

Courts Visits

Frequent listing of matters in Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, District courts within the vicinity of Delhi, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Central Admisnistrative Tribunal etc.  helps us to understand practical and ground reality of litigation in different hierarchy of judiciary which really assist you in choosing the field of law that you are looking towards in the future.


High Stakes matters demands the experience of Senior Counsels and therefore, Manisha Ma’am always accompanied by the junior and interns on her briefing session to the senior counsel which is the matter of privilege for the intern as he/she can acknowledge the argumentative skill and Court Craft  of top Senior Counsels.


Since, the office is situated at the heart of South Delhi and therefore, lot of PG’s as well as hostels are available in the Lajpat Nagar, Amar Colony, Green Park, South Extension etc.


Depends upon your commitment and dedication.

Things to Remember

Be all in or get all out. There is no halfway as don’t pursue this internship if your purpose is to receive the just internship certificate because the chamber makes you to work and not to sit idle.
