Duration of internship and timings
I did the internship for the period of 1 month. The timings were 10. a.m. to 7 a.m. Sometimes they make you stay till 8 p.m. also
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
There is no first day formalities. The infrastructure is very nice. There is separate desks for interns. On first day I felt that I have entered in the office of Supreme Court Advocate. I t was all together new and different experience.
They provide interns research work, filing work as well as drafting work. You also get the opportunity to witness proceedings in Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Work environment and people
The work environment is very nice. Apart form work you get enough time to take rest. So all the times you remain energized to perform and complete the assigned task.
The best thing was the working environment and junior advocates working under him. The working environment was so nice that you get complete freedom to perform your talent and skills.
You get ample opportunities to assist sir directly in drafting of Special leave Petitions and Writ Petitions.
I think I did not find any bad thing in this internship. This was my best and most learning internship.
There is utter need of hard work, dedication and curiosity to learn something if you want to be a good advocate.
Any Other Thing
Sir is very nice and he personally takes care of the activities of interns.
He also time to time teaches regarding certain procedural rules of courts which help you very much in understanding procedural laws.
