First impression, first day, formalities
First day task is to get your letter head for court entry pass from sir’s P.A., then introduction with sir and his team.
I then accompanied him to court rooms and started working from the same day in evening by reading next day cases and briefing opinions to Sir and research on queries or topics given by the junior associates .
Main task is to accompany sir in the court making notes then briefing him opinions sent by various departments to advice them on various legal issues and briefing him the upcoming matters and research work on those matters .
Work environment, people
Very friendly & cool environment.
Sir himself is a very good and calm person as he is very polite to his juniors and staff. He has a very vast knowledge of criminal & civil matters.
As it is ASG’s office to has alot of leading and big matters which are daily highlighted in media, so it is a fun to read and know about those matters.
The best things AND the bad things
best thing about his office is that every one is cool including sir and works like a family.
Malhotra sir treats his juniors, interns and staff like his own kids. He himself is a very workaholic person.
You could learn a lot from him. Nothing is bad in his office.
It is given according to the work if he likes, I was given Rs. 5000/per month.
Accommodation etc. What did you to do chill in and around the office and the place of stay?
My residence is at Indirapuram so I used to commute with my brother up until supreme court as he himself is a lawyer, then in evening I used to commute with metro.
Khan market is just opposite to sir’s office cum residence so that was a chill out place but as we all know a very expensive affair to hang out there.
