Basically the NGO takes interns who personally contact with them. I got the approval like this only. Or the email id is also available on the website

At a time they usually take 5-6 interns.

Duration of internship and timings

1 month internship. Timing was from 10 to 4.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

At my first day, I was given the task of interacting with the children who were mentally or physically challenged. After a week the basic task was to record the books for the blind children.

Main tasks

Recording books, and field work like survey of the slum areas and get information about anyone who is mentally or physically challenged.

Work environment and people

The environment is quite friendly, they will not treat you as an intern but as a whole time member of the NGO.

Best things

Interaction with children who are not physically and mentally but stillare happy.

They teach us how the face challenges and keep a smile on the face always.

Biggest Lessons

The field work is a big challenge, but its good if a law student in his first year is doing an internship in an NGO like this.
