Aspiring candidates are supposed to send electronic mail before hand. It would be better to apply at least a month before the day you want to start internship.

December 2, 2015 – January 4, 2016.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day the interns are supposed to report the office where they need to get the in-person registration done. Further one needs to carry the recommendation provided to him/her by the college.
We attended various seminars related to issues of human concern. We took part in various discussions in which we tried to understand various issues faced by people following lesser prevalent life style.
Further we carried out night surveys for homeless people sleeping in Jaipur city under open sky.
Work environment and people
The work environment was great. We got an opportunity to meet senior lawyers and social workers working for the betterment of the society.
People in the office are very keen to help you in understanding various concepts associated to day to day life of common man.
A person gets to know about real life struggles of people for leading meaningful lives seeking equality and acceptability.
Further we get to interact and understand about plights of lesser privileged or unprivileged sections if the society.
Being here will result in having exposure to a new world of people who form the major chunk of the nation but don’t have basic amenities.
You get an opportunity to meet people from all the corners of the country and get an opportunity to work with them.
If you are a lazy bum, this is not the place for you!
Got an opportunity to know about intricacies involved in governmental works and how based on promises people are deprived from their habitats and livelihood and how does I contribute to this vicious circle.
Humanity is utmost virtue.
PGs are easily available in the same locality where the office is situated. It costs around Rs. 6500 for having a PG for a month.
Since it is a human rights organization most of the time the interns would be involved in field work and there is no fixed working hours.
There might be days when one will need to work on Sundays as well.
