Indian Journal for Constitutional Studies (ISSN-2456-5008) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly law review published with the objective of elevating and contributing to the growth of Constitutional Law in India. The journal covers the issues relating to the ambit of Constitutional Law and other areas of law through its interactions.
The theme of the Article must pertain to “The Indian Elections: Democracy, Drama Dialogue.” The Articles must involve a clear identification of issues and must attempt to critique or resolve them in a logical manner.
The Sub Themes can also be taken up from the following:
- Election Commission: A Constitutional Body or a myth.
- Elections and Media: A Conundrum.
- EVM and Waste Generated: An anathema to Environmental Concerns.
- President Rule: Happenings and Mishaps.
- RPA: The Regulatory Framework.
Abstract: All submissions must be accompanied with an abstract of 300-500 words. Include Key Words as well.
Articles: A comprehensive and thorough analysis of issues relevant to the theme. The word limit for articles is between 5,000 to 8,000 words.
Essays: They should give a detailed argument based analysis of the subject matter being dealt with. Essays should generally cover areas which remain unexplored. The word limit for essays is between 3,000 to 6,000 words.
Comments: Comments on judicial decisions shall limit to 3,000–5,000 words. Analysis of legislative materials shall limit to 3,000-5,000 words. Reviews of recently published books may be upto 2,000- 3,000 words; besides other forms of scholarly writing. Arguments must be logical and can take into account aspects such as sociological, political, and economic implications.
All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Spacing 1.5. All footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, single-spaced and should conform to the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). Left 1.5 Inch and Right 1 Inch, Top 1 Inch and Bottom 1 Inch. All the word limits are exclusive of footnotes.
Submission of Full Paper (along with abstracts): May 30, 2019.
All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx formats along with a pdf copy of the same. The Manuscripts must be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions or view stated in the submitted Manuscript.
All manuscripts would be subject to plagiarism check and if the content is found to be plagiarized, the submission is liable to be rejected. Research papers for the Journal shall be subject to double-blind peer review after initial screening by the editorial committee of the IJCS. We strictly go by the contribution and quality research and other facts are irrelevant.
