IIT Kharagpur’s National Colloquium on Legal Research and Methodology [Nov 1-2]; For PhD Students

Realizing the ever widening application of ‘law’ and to neutralize the ongoing intrigues and challenges  taking place all through, it has become inevitable to revisit ‘the structural and operational facets’ of law and to draw inference for innovative research.

In furtherance of the same, RGSOIPL is organizing a Two-day National Colloquium on Legal Research and Methodology on 1st & 2nd November 2014.

The plenary sessions will provide opportunity to the participants to make presentations on their research topics, followed by intense and insightful discussions.

Renowned scholars from the field will be present on the occasion and guide scholars on research techniques and methodologies thereby enlightening them to design (or re-design) their research pursuits and attainable objectives.

The goal of the National Colloquium is to afford a platform to the participants to re-look into their research problem and approach it with better scientific temper.

The colloquium intends to acquaint scholars with different facets, dynamics and trends in legal research and methodology from the stage of formulation of a research problem to thesis writing and to equip them with the requisite skills to (re)shape their research problem (if necessary) and pursue it in a systematic and effective manner.
