About the Campaign

Amid the ongoing pandemic, India has seen a massive surge of cases. Many have lost their dear ones in this pandemic and the loss continues as yet. To combat this pandemic we have vaccines available by our government, however, there is a group of people who are facing difficulties in accessing the same. We as humans have a moral duty towards the community to help each other rise through this phase.
Therefore, The Centre for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law proposes to organize a campaign. The campaign aims:

  • To facilitate coronavirus vaccine activities and support broad-based vaccine coverage for underprivileged populations.
  • It is intended to improve the implementation of activities, attempt to engage in additional partnerships and implementing new strategies to reach the underprivileged group.
  • The campaign further aims to create awareness about the CoVID-19 pandemic, symptoms, and precautions. Further, we propose to encourage and help the identified group in the registration for vaccination and educate them regarding the steps to be taken after taking the vaccination.

Since, the students of ICFAI University, Dehradun are at different places they will be conducting the same activities in their hometown thereby facilitating wider coverage of the campaign.

They also intend to include students and others from Pan India at other universities as well to further this cause.

The campaign shall be for 1 month after which the participants who have contributed to fulfilling the purpose of the campaign will receive a certificate of appreciation.

The participants under this campaign are expected to contribute to this campaign by helping underprivileged people to register for the vaccine and follow up till they get their first dose.
