First very nice as it was my first internship so I was very exited about the internship as every thing was new.
On reaching the office I met National Director of the organization Mr. K.K. Roy and then I was asked about which team I would like to work with. I chose a team and on the very first day we started our surveys.
Main tasks
The main tasks which were given to us were divided in two group we were the team of 10 members, 5 were given the task of surveying by going from one place to another and 5 were given the task of preparing survey reports and writ petitions.
We have gone for the survey at various hotels at Allahabad and we had surveyed many restaurants and we have to see that those restaurant have the rain water harvesting systems or not and we were very amazed to find that five star and reputed restaurant does not have this harvesting system and we had filed PIL against them at the High Court of Allahabad.
We have gone to various hospital to survey the conditions of the government hospital there we found that there was a Duffren Hospital where last night women has given birth to a child outside the hospital where there was nobody to answer about that lady.
Than we have written the report of the survey and what were the loop holes in the survey that we have found out.
Then based on our report we prepared a writ petition and filed it in the form of a PIL in THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE at Allahabad and argued the PIL ourselves.
Work environment and people
Working environment was very nice. My team members and every body was very chill out.
Ms. Smriti Kartikeya who was the internship co-ordinator took proper care of the interns and whenever we needed any kind of help we were guided by Smriti ma’am and Vishal sir.
Best things
Best thing is that we have explore a lot and came to learn various things.
We prepared the writ ourselves and argued before the court. There is great confidence boost after this kind of internship.
