It is with great pleasure and honour, we at Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur announce our inaugural Model United Nations Conference.

To be held from 11th to 13th March, 2016, we hope to redefine the experience of an MUN conference, which will give the participating delegates a realistic feel of how a conference is conducted in the United Nations.

With four committees, an international press and a top class Executive Board, not only from the country but from around the globe, HNLU International Model United Nations Conference promises to be amongst the most anticipated conferences of 2016.

The committees will make delegates think outside the box and will provide an apt platform for interacting with different kinds of people, offering an opportunity to revel in concentration of debate and culture amid the heated discussion.

With participation expected from India and abroad, the conference is expected to be a truly global affair.

The committees to be simulated in the conference are as follows with the respective agendas:

1. United Nations Security Council: Insurgency and conflict in the middle east with special reference to Iraq and Syria.

2. United Nations General Assembly: Rise in communalism and ways to curb tendencies of religious hatred and intolerance.

3. United Nations Human Rights Council: Increase in countries role to ensure protection of civilians during armed aggression.

4. All India Political Parties Meet: Review of Communal Intolerance in the country.
