The GNLU-NLA Certificate Course on Nuclear Energy & Law will be conducted on 11-12 April, 2015 at GNLU, Gandhinagar.
Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) under the aegis of GUVNL-GNLU Fellowship Programme in collaboration with Nuclear Law Association of India (NLA; NLA collaborates with the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA) as its India Section) brought this indispensable Certificate course on “Nuclear Energy and Law” to address several issues.
a. A basic understanding of nuclear science and technology,
b. Understanding of special nature of India’s nuclear history and international engagement,
c. The prospects for nuclear energy development in India and the possibilities,
d. Understanding best international practices relating to safety, security & liability,
e. Analysis of existing legal, judicial & institutional framework in context with global regime, and
f. Critical analysis of international legal obligations in view of India’s position.
Two days; 11-12 April, 2015
a. Students pursuing LL.B ( IInd year onwards from 3-year LL.B Course; III year onwards from 5-year integrated LLB Course)

Assessment and Examination Pattern:
Will be done on the basis of written submission on case studies, group discussion, MCQs etc.
