The Indian Maritime sector has been consistently exhibiting strong growth and is slated to be the maritime market of the future.
The establishment of Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) is an endeavour by the Gujarat Maritime Board to provide a fillip to this growth by bridging the knowledge gap within the industry. Gujarat Maritime University has been established under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009.

About the Competition
GIMAC Committee of School of Maritime Law, Policy and Administration, GMU is holding its annual flagship event, GMU International Maritime Arbitration Competition (GIMAC) from March 06, 2020 to March 08, 2020.
GMU International Maritime Arbitration Competition is aimed at nurturing and creating opportunities for the development of the skills of Arbitration in Maritime Law.
Students duly enrolled and pursuing full time 5 years or 3 years undergraduate law course from India or from a foreign university with law as a major, may apply to participate.
The teams are requested to provisionally register by sending a mail to the GIMAC Committee of School of Maritime Law, Policy and Administration, at gimac[at]gmu.edu.in.
