About the symposium
The East India – US Symposium on Intellectual Property Rights workshop will be organised by AUTM Foundation and AAPIOix, USA. The American Consulate – Kolkata, is also promoting the workshop along with the knowledge partner Biswajit Sarkar, Advocates – IP Attorneys, India.
The workshop will be in two sessions, continuing 28th June till 2nd July. The first session of the workshop will be held on 28th June 2019 and 29th June 2019, which is designed for the advanced level law students those who are well exposed in the field of Intellectual Property and the IP Professionals.
The first session of the workshop will cover Patents, Trade Marks, Copyrights, Industrial Designs, Geographical Indications and Comparison of Indian and U. S. Patent laws.
The second session of the workshop will be held on 1st July and 2nd July 2019, where the Software Protection, Biotechnology, Pharma, IP Strategy, Business Methods, Licensing and Business Development, Partnership and Collaborations will be discussed for the benefits of the tech companies, entrepreneurs and the SMEs.
The workshops will be taking take place on June 28-29 and July 1-2, 2019 at the Westin Kolkata.
Please note that space is limited and the number of attendees will be capped at 40 per workshop. Attendees will be selected for experiential and organizational diversity
