Duration of Internship and timings

My internship started from 3rd may and it last till 4th June (1 month) .

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

At the first day of internship you are being introduced to each and every member present in the office and they give you work related to present cases there in the office.

Main tasks

Mainly this firm works in cases related to civil matters, criminal matters and arbitration. So the work was given in relation to these type of cases. As Rajeshree mam deals with all the interns she only gives the work.

Work which is given is research work, drafting of cases, drafting synopsis, etc. You even get an opportunity to visit the Nagpur High Court (Bombay bench), District Court Nagpur, Family Courts and State Consumer Forum.

Work environment and people

Rajeshree mam and all the co-associates were very helpful. Not like the other firms where you have to work tirelessly, here the working atmosphere was really nice and if there was birthdays it was celebrated at the end of the day’s work with all the office members.

All the attorneys and co-associates were always there to help and clear all my doubts related to my work.

Best things

It helped me to improve my research work which helped in my Moot Court Competition and it gives an opportunity to understand the working of the law firm how it deals with cases and clients.

Bad things

There was nothing bad as such during my internship.

There is no stipend

Biggest Lessons

It is an immense pleasure to intern in such a big firm. It helped me to know that the life of an advocate is not an easy one where he has to deal with all the research work, court proceedings and with clients.

As I am from Nagpur I didn’t had to look for any accommodation in the city.

Office Timings

The office timings were 9 am to 6 pm it was for 6 days a week.
